Our Story
Magicians on the Green is the fundraising home of the LeMoyne-Owen College golf team — a proud HBCU program in Memphis, Tennessee, competing in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) at the NCAA Division II level.
More than merch
Building a college golf program takes more than talent. It takes clubs, balls, travel, hotels, and entry fees — the quiet costs that decide who gets to compete. Magicians on the Green turns fans, alumni, and partners into the fuel behind every round.
The golf wizard says it best: a little magic, the right gear, and a community behind you can send a young player farther than they ever imagined.

Magicians Golf Gets Stronger With 2026 Class
November 5, 2025
LeMoyne-Owen College Men's Golf added two international recruits to strengthen its roster: Joao “Lucky” Skolnik from Brazil and Ryan Broderick from Canada.
Joao “Lucky” Skolnik hails from Camaçari, Bahia, Brazil. He grew up around golf in Brazil, where his father worked at a resort course — the same facility where he developed his passion for the sport. After relocating to the United States at age 12, he pursued golf alongside his academic studies. His career aspirations center on hotel management, blending business knowledge with golf expertise to continue his family's legacy in golf and hospitality.
Ryan Broderick comes from Dundalk, Ontario, Canada. He began golf training at age 10 under mentor Sam Young at Shelburne Golf & Country Club, and previously balanced ice hockey during winters with summer golf competition. Broderick aspires to become a high school teacher while competing for the Magicians.
Head Coach Dominique Worthen on the signings: “Student-athletes who represent what we're building — global talent, strong academics, and a hunger to compete.”
